Prince’s Trust – Operation Entrepreneur
Life after the military can be challenging. Veterans often face numerous difficulties and obstacles as they transition to life after service.
His Majesty, King Charles III is the president and founder of Prince’s Trust Canada, an organization working to create social, economic and environmental resilience through youth employment, Veteran entrepreneurship, and sustainability programs.
Operation Entrepreneur assists those within the Veteran community to start their businesses by providing the right tools and training to help them get a head start. Innovation hubs, workshops on different subjects, direct talks with entrepreneurs and ongoing online support are just a few of the services provided by the program.
Another workshop offered by the program is an entrepreneur boot camp. Described by program alumni and participants as a crash course in marketing, social media, finance, business planning, and accounting, this boot camp is a wonderful way for Veterans to connect, build partnerships and share experiences to bring their business and themselves to the next level.
